Easy Walk Harness tm

Teaching your dog to walk on a loose leash is a pain in the….a lot of people just let their dogs drag them down the street. Others try to train their dogs using violent leash corrections, or the tedious make-like-a-tree method. Save yourself and your dog a lot of trouble by buying one of these easy walk harnesses.

I was skeptical at first until I saw how well they worked on a large variety of dogs. They seem to cut at least 80% of the pulling power of a typical dog and they cause the dog to turn towards you so that it refocuses and allows you to reward it for behaviors other than pulling.

Proper fit is important. Some bully breeds do better with the harness put on upside down (bottom strap on top) and you can get a more secure attachment to the leash by hooking the ring on the front of the harness to the collar and the leash.

I have heard a few people complain that they don't like having the leash come out in front of the dog, but hey that is a small price to pay for the control you get. Also, this harness does look good (unlike a head halter) and dogs seems to be comfortable wearing it. It generally does not appear to inhibit them or make them upset.
